The Post-It Pole: Leave your Name Tag in this West Hastings Laneway

A laneway on the 400 block of north side of West Hastings in Vancouver has a light pole that serves a secondary purpose — the perfect place to leave those sticky name tags after your meeting or event.
But wait — there’s more.

A backdrop, painstakingly created, to deliver an important message to the world. But what does it say? And was it an angel?
In another genius move, across the laneway at the same location, this mural floats fittingly above a dumpster. Attribution for this mural is ColdWorldmedia.com, which doesn’t seem to exist per se, but you can see a few more of this collective’s works here.
