… i.e. people have the ability to reason, think an make decisions on the fly.
Computer will just do what they are programmed to do and if a scenario isn’t thought out in advance, disaster could result.
You just have to watch as episode of “Mayday” to see how plane computers and unexpected circumstances cause airplane crashes, even with experienced pilots in the cockpit.
That’s how I approach it. The majority of most motorists just want to get from point A to point B and don’t intend to hit anyone.
What I find odd though is when infrastructure to help them to not hit people is proposed and they oppose it. That’s what doesn’t make sense.
