Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that the Arbutus Greenway is busier each time I travel on it. Even on a cool foggy Sunday in January.
Today I saw people walking, running, riding scooters, pushing strollers, lugging bags of stuff from Kerrisdale, riding bikes, sitting on a bench. Most of them smiling.
Great to see so many people on the greenway! Question… Are scooters permitted on the AG?
Like an electric bicycle?
Gas powered is a ‘no’.
I have an a pedal assist electric bicycle and asked about that and this is the response I got…
“If your bike falls into ICBC’s motor-assisted cycle criteria then you can use it on the Arbutus Greenway temporary path”.
Criteria for the bicycle is here… http://www.icbc.com/vehicle-registration/specialty-vehicles/Low-powered-vehicles/Pages/Electric-bikes.aspx
Push scooters, yes.
