With a little imagination we too could have street chandeliers at Xmas.

Vienna can be magical.
The head doesn’t even look like a reindeer (caribou), so probably not a miscalculation.
There are other areas of the mall (rotunda) with higher ceilings if they wanted a reindeer with antlers, but agreed, that it does look a bit odd.
