And why haven’t we heard about him before?
I came across this video by accident: Vancouver’s Future Skytrain Lines (The Mayors’ Council’s 10 Year Plan: Explained)
Initially I thought it was a particularly clever production by the Mayors’ Council aimed at a younger audience – but it was too clever, funny and opinionated to be anything produced by a cautious bureaucracy. And yet it was extremely well informed and detailed.
Turns out it was done by a talented young guy named Josh Messmer (his website is here with his videos, photography, poetry and musings.) But PT readers in particular with want to go to This Here Vancouver for the above video and others.
It’s guys like Josh that give you hope for the future – and hope that Vancouver will still be a place he can afford to live in.
