Urban Systems has an opening for Transportation Planning Technologist.

Our thriving Transportation Planning team is an integral part of our practice and is looking for the next capable and enthusiastic junior team member. Our team members enjoy working alongside industry leaders on exciting and challenging projects that make a visible difference in many communities across western Canada and beyond.
You will be working with an experienced team of engineers and planners in a fast-paced environment on exciting projects, both large and small, that make positive impacts in our communities.  Your abilities to engage and contribute are only limited by your own ambition.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:

• Providing support to the Kelowna based Transportation Planning Practice with data collection, transportation analysis, planning level design/cost estimating, and report writing.
• Transportation support to local clients including traffic and safety studies, corridor planning, active transportation planning, multi-modal transportation plans, municipal design support, and development reviews.
• Providing traffic engineering support for the Highway Design Practice including forecasting, traffic and warrant analysis, and signing/pavement marking design
