Sort of a stupid article given that a city’s geographic area is defined by legislatively enacted boundaries and the governing councils.

I doubt you would find a resident of “Vancouver Heights” (which is situated in Burnaby, yes, Burnaby, just east of Boundary Rd.) endlessly arguing that they live in the City of Vancouver.
