False Creek Flats is home to around 600 businesses. Here’s one that has stored a house next to a car and a shipping container. Perhaps it’s a sign that this area is undervalued, and overdue for some attention and loving upgrade for the good of us all.

It may not look like much, but under the discolouration there is probably old growth Douglas fir studs. And 10-foot ceilings. A classic tall Edwardian form. It will probably be moved up the coast or over to an island and renovated. Thank gawd it didn’t end up in a landfill.
