This interesting option was found at a Kia dealership in North Van. The dealer is located close to the Spirit Trail on 1st avenue west and has decided to offer courtesy bikes to customers bringing their vehicle for service.
An interesting offering from a perpetuator of motordom.

I think it just means they aren’t polarized in their thinking.
I’ll bet they also sell bike roofracks to customers too.
But I wonder how long you can take the bikes for?
I know that Capilano Volkswagen will drop you at the Seabus to get to work downtown (you take the bus back on your own to pick up).
Would you be able to take a bike to your downtown office all day and ride back to pick-up the car?
I would think you can keep the courtesy bike until you pick up your car from Kia. The bikes were featured in the North Shore News when the dealership opened its new location on 1st St.
I believe Kia started out as a bicycle manufacturer.
From Wikipedia: “Kia was founded in December 1944 as Kyungsung Precision Industry, a manufacturer of steel tubing and bicycle parts, eventually producing Korea’s first domestic bicycle, the Samchully, in 1951.”
Most automobile companies started as bike companies. Benz, Peugeot ,Chevrolet, Rolls-Royce, etc. The first car was made from bike parts.
They are not some polar opposites. Drivers and Cyclists have pretty well the same motives.
Yes, they are too lazy to walk.
