NEFC Planning Launch Party
Thursday, Sept. 15, 5:30-9pm, Plaza of Nations (777 Pacific Blvd.)
Come learn more about the Northeast False Creek (NEFC) planning process and share your vision for the future of the area.
Join us for live music, food trucks, and family friendly activities. During our outreach last year on the future of the viaducts, we heard initial ideas, concerns, and opportunities for the future of the area. We now have the opportunity to create a vibrant, inviting waterfront events district with a beautiful destination park.
If you can’t make it, you can share your thoughts online here.
Review the City of Vancouver’s 11 guiding principles for NEFC HERE and the 62-page Conceptual Plan HERE. Review previous documents and studies, going back to 1992, HERE.

. . . lay to rest anxiety expressed by our local contingent of AGW-istas fearing the re-located St Paul’s new healing facilities, close by to this location, may be inundated!
I feel so lonely reading their prates while trying to discern a smidgen of sea level rise on the markers I see from my window: it’s been nearly twenty-years and the algea remains, pretty much, the same as when I moved in!
Yes, just a comic, but…
