Ohrn Image — Cambie St. Mural

Cambie north of Hastings.  Here’s a graffiti-style mural by artist Take5, with lots of care and zig-zaggy intensity.  Note the lamps set above it for night-time illumination.  One lamp seems to grow out of the person’s forehead, as a part of a VR-like headset or miner’s lamp.  Mining for beats, perhaps.
Inexplicably, there is an overturned shopping cart chained to the power pole’s guy wire.  If I wasn’t cynical, I’d think it might be a bit of guerilla sculpture (a very urban add-on to the mural). The pylon and “road closed” sign were put there by the crew installing the Cambie bike lane.
