Another transportation app has just launched in Vancouver:
Swiftly is “a multi-modal trip planner that combines real-time information from public and private transportation options to help users to compare travel times and costs across modes.”

Yeah, it gives you calorie counts for walking and cycling. That, I believe, is what is called cool.

LOL Uber option, “Not Available”
Taking the bus must burn some calories!
I’ve been using the Citymapper app for a while now and it has all those features and more: calorie counts, taxi comparison (using taxis that actually exist here) plus it has car share. And swiftly only has an Apple version, Android and others are “coming soon”. So this seems to be a non event, don’t see what this app offers that several others haven’t been doing for a while and doing better.
