Every year I wonder if the city was, in years past, as green and lush as it seems this spring. And of course it wasn’t. Things grow fast here – like the saplings planted in the early 2000s at Coal Harbour, particularly in the park on top of the community centre, that are now filling in.:

Combined with Harbour Green Park and the west convention centre, there are a series of green links along what was, not long, ago, an industrial rail yard.
