Mr. Pachal has been elected as Councillor of the Langley City Council. Those who recall his time as Price Tags’ guest editor will appreciate his interest in transit, transit-oriented development, urban design and sustainability.
Congrats to Nathan Pachal indeed. He’s a sensible voice on a lot of issues
I just hope that his (and Langley City’s) proposal to let municipalities enact special property taxes on strata properties goes nowhere
I wish Nathan well in his new endeavour. His views are very progressive in relation to the prevailing attitudes. I worked for two years SoF and know that he will be a breath of fresh air.
If I could offer a couple words of wisdom: Please respect and learn from the big city, and you will get respect in return; and when quoting demographics and housing stats, putting them into the context of the whole Metro (not selective parts) is an essential part of Best Practices.
Good luck!

This is great, I wish more ‘young’ people would get engaged and bust up the status quo.
Oh, it’s happening.
Congrats Nathan!
All the best!
Thanks for your hard work, I am sure you will make a great councilor.
