Jen St. Denis at BIV does a nice profile of the transition at the SFU City Program. (There have only been three directors since the early 1990s: Judy Oberlander, myself and now, as acting director, Andy Yan. Acknowledgement, as well, to Frank Pacella, the program coordinator who has served us all so well.

It’s good to know the program is in good hands. Andy Yan’s willingness to delve for data and not be cowed into sugarcoating the findings is a breath of fresh air. Certainly in contrast to the mealymouthed platitudes of the mayor.
A good Yan is hard to find!
