But still: 5,000 new cars per month. At that rate, there is nothing that will save the city from turning rush minutes into hours.
We spend a lot of time in Panama and it is rush hour all the time–snail’s pace congestion punctuated by kamikazee daring 24/7. We stay in the Radisson Decapolis with an ocean and freeway view and at any hour there is a stream of red lights. There is a new subway but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference.
