Metro Sustainability Breakfast: Building Connectivity – Oct 14

A significant body of research indicates that quality of life is directly linked to a community’s sense of belonging and interconnectedness, and that the happiest cities are ones that help nurture those relationships. Yet a number of recent surveys conducted throughout the Metro Vancouver region suggest that many people in the region may be feeling a sense of isolation and a lack of connection to their neighbourhood. What causes such a strain on social cohesion, and more importantly, what can be done to alleviate it?
