Doug Saunders, author and international-affairs columnist at The Globe and Mail will deliver the 2015 Ismaili Centre Lecture on the topic of Arrival Cities: How Immigration Succeeds and Fails on the Edge of the City.
In the context of his award-winning publication, Arrival City: The Final Migration and our Next World, Mr. Saunders will share his insights on how migration and urban growth is reshaping our world and the benefits and drawbacks of these changes.
The lecture is followed by a response from Abidin Kusno Professor at the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University, Toronto, and thereafter, a discussion and a moderated Q & A with the audience.
