A Sunday afternoon gathering taking over a parking lot on Davie Street in Vancouver’s West End.

This is the only property on the West side of Davie that does not address the street and for some reason was allowed back in the day to destroy the original structure and replace the street frontage with surface parking.
Gradually morphing into a series of outdoor spaces, the parking lot has come along way from its purely automobile driven function as witnessed in the aerial photo from 2005.
