Greenwave Cycling: The London Touch

It’s not just the Dutch who are using the latest transport technology:

Cycling Superhighways around and through London may soon feature advanced bike-only sensors to enable a “green wave” for people riding bikes.

London Mayor Boris Johnson:  “Once again, London leads the way as we host world-first trials of technology that has the potential to bring significant benefits to cyclists.  With record numbers taking to two wheels, we are doing everything we can to make our roads more inviting places to be.”

“Green Wave”:  A green wave occurs when a series of traffic lights (usually three or more) are coordinated to allow continuous traffic flow over several intersections
