Günter Lang of Lang Consulting and Passive House Austria is an experienced researcher and leader in the field of Passive House and low energy building policy, design and construction.
During this lecture he shares his extensive knowledge on the design and construction of both new and renovated, large scale Passive House buildings, dispelling the notion that Passive House is only a small scale, residential design approach. He shares examples of multi-family and 20 story glazed skyscrapers such as the RHW.2 tower in Vienna which have been designed, built and certified to consume a fraction of the energy use of comparable North American buildings.
