Despite all the construction within a block or so of the High Line, it all pales when compared to what will border the third phase of the walkway which opened last year: the giant Hudson Yards project – “supposedly the largest ever of its kind.”

A platform is being over the assembly yards of the Long Island Railway, which will continue operating even as the project is built above – a model, as Michael Alexander suggests, for the Waterfront Station Hub in Vancouver.
