From Metro Vancouver Update:
Phase One construction on the new Lougheed Highway Sewer Project is underway in north-central Burnaby along Lougheed Highway. The new sewer will roughly parallel an existing sewer called the Burnaby Lake North Interceptor which serves central Burnaby. Both sewers flow through Burnaby and New Westminster before going to the Annacis Island Waste Water Treatment Plant in Delta.
