Wow – a big box Apple store – they should be so proud.
Look at the average $/sq foot for retail space in PDX vs. YVR.
A good friend of mine owns a bike shop here in Vancouver. The space is about 20 feet wide by probably 65 feet deep, so about 1300 square feet. We were in Portland chatting with the owner of VeloCult down there – they have over 5000 square feet in their space and pay exactly the same rent as my friend does for his shop here in Vancouver.
