A new year, refreshed, and ready to introduce some new features to Price Tags, as you’ll see above.
In the next three months, of course, there will be a lot of posting on the referendum, and I look forward to your comments and contributions on this historic issue.
Thanks, as always, to PT’s regular contributors: Ken Ohrn, Tom Durning, Scot Bathgate, and those who send me great material – Gladys We, Peter Berkeley, Dianna, Ray Spaxman, Chris Bruntlett, David Banks, Matt Taylor, and, oh dear, others whose names I’ve overlooked.
I could also use some feedback. Normally, I post about eight to twelve items on weekdays. Is that too many or about right? Should there be more posts on weekends? More emphasis on some things, less on others?
In any event, I hope Price Tags is a useful and informative contribution to your day.

Happy new year!
I like the blog the way it is… FWIW.
Happy new year!
Thank you for your blog! I’ve been coming regularly for at least 5 years… It’s one of my favourite places on the net!
More than frequency, I think it’s regularity that counts. I don’t really feel a big difference between 3 posts or 6 in one day, but I do notice if there’s no updates for multiple days. It’s something you do very well–maintain a steady content flow. That, combined with the thoughtful, provocative posts and your even-handed approach to debates that makes this a great blog!
Hard to find fault with your approach, Gord. May the trolls stay away!
Thanks for the mention, Gordon. I’m pleased to contribute the occasional thing as a part of the endless flow of interesting stuff you either create or assemble.
I’m most interested in the City — its politics, how it changes, and how the change is managed. Currently, the transit referendum (in all its glorious and inexplicable lunacy) is top of mind. But the Jericho Lands and the Arbutus Corridor are on my watch list.
Clearly, transportation is a ever-moving topic (tee-hee), and given my past and my personal mobility choices, I am pleased that you share my interest in all things bicycle.
Happy New Year!
My feeling is that the frequency of your posting is completely up to you. It’s your blog, and you have plenty more to do with your life than sit at the screen! Being from far away, your posts on local politics are somewhat less interesting than the others, but that’s no criticism. I’m an interloping guest from Sydney (the Australian one), and I appreciate your time and effort.
