Severeal years ago (maybe 4), I noticed that the multi-coloured lighting inside the dome at Canada Place was not working. My conversation with a man responsible for maintenance at the site was very unhelpful, as he said “times are tough” before hanging up.
A second call about 2 years ago got me through to the same person and the same unhelpful attitude.
The original design and review by City officials approved this building with this specific feature that added interest to the skyline in dark hours has been left neglected for quite some time.
