SFU Vancouver turns 25

Shameless Promo Department:.

This May, SFU Vancouver celebrated 25 years as the intellectual heart of the city. In 1989, SFU’s Harbour Centre location officially opened for studies, transforming the landscape of urban education in downtown Vancouver. The SFU Vancouver campus has continued to expand, with the addition of 611 Alexander Street in 1993, the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue in 2001, the Segal Graduate School of Business in 2002, and SFU’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts in 2010.

Today, the SFU Vancouver campus covers over 385,000 square feet of the downtown core and serves over 70,000 people annually.
