  1. Rail works in dense urban areas like lower mainland or Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto corridor but not elsewhere in Canada . Perhaps Calgary-red deer-Edmonton.

Via Rail, like CBC, should not receive any more government funding.

  2. The smallest landmasses in Canada contain the greatest concentration OF PEOPLE!! WE CAN GO TO THE USA EASIER THAN TO ANYWHERE ELSE IN CANADA – YOU HAVE TAKEN AWAY OUR TRAINS AND OUR BUSES – SO WE TRAVEL BY CAR!! WHY SHOULD WE CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS WHEN YOU HAVE TAKEN AWAY OUR MEANS OF CONTACT – EXCEPT BY AIR – WITH ALL OF CANADA. THE ENGINEERS TELL US THAT THE LEAST FRICTION IS A STEEL WHEEL ON A STEEL RAIL – SO PLAN AHEAD TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT ENERGY CONSERVATION. THE WEST WANT YOUR BLESSINGS TOO – ONE WAY OR ANOTHER PETROLEUM TAXES WILL BE RAISED TO REDUCE THE PASSENGER COST AND TO CONNECT ALL OF OUR CITIES . A COMMENT FROM REGINA WHICH HAS NO PASSENGER TRAINS!!!
