Want to Be More Creative? Take a Walk
A brief stroll, even around your office, can significantly increase creativity, according to a handy new study. … Daniel Schwartz, a professor in the Stanford Graduate School of Education, Dr. Oppezzo recruited a group of undergraduate students and set out to see if she could goose their creativity. …
For almost every student, creativity increased substantially when they walked. Most were able to generate about 60 percent more uses for an object, and the ideas were both “novel and appropriate,” Dr. Oppezzo writes in her study, which was published this month in The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition.

Sparkling Sidewalks
During the day, particles in the surface of the path absorb UV light. In the evening, they release that energy again. The result is a beautiful effect that its creators call “Starpath.”

Very nice.
Reminds me a bit of the blue glass chips in the sidewalks of Granville Street.
While there would be enough light to see the pathway, I doubt there would be enough light for safety, as the picture shows how dark the adjacent areas remain.
