Jane’s Walk 2: Transport Visions for North Van – May 4

North Vancouver’s first Jane’s Walk is about active transportation, led by Dave Perfitt – a long-time North Van resident and advocate for better walking and cycling facilities.


Transportation Visions for North Vancouver, future, present, and past

Come out and discuss a proposed greenway overpass between Lynn Valley and Lonsdale Town Centres. These two major North Vancouver Town Centres share the same plateau, separated by a mere three kilometres distance, with only a 30 meters (100′) elevation difference.

Start will be at the Loutet Park Baseball Diamond (located at Rufus Avenue and East 17th Street in North Vancouver. The walk’s finish will be at Karen Magnussen Recreation Centre, with an option to continue discussion over coffee at Delany’s Coffee, near Lynn Valley Library.
