when trying to write
haikus on mobility
you have to stand still
.
The 2013 Haiku Sustainability Slam is being organized by World Streets and its friends here.
The theme? Sustainability is not a four letter word (but maybe it should be)
Example:
gasping planet open mouths
one thousand conferences
no bird sound
.
This is a ditty I composed some years back, and only noticed it had 17 syllables recently:
In every field,
The more you wield,
The more you yield,
Lest others shield.
Chris
OK, this slam deserves a special creation, without so much rhyming this time:
Share a car?
High costs to drive more;
High savings to drive less.
No brainer!
Kids, Trees
If You Want Us Around,
Give Us Some Ground.
All Beings Round, Sound.
