USEFUL LANES AND HIGH PRAISE

Writer Markham Hislop in the Beacon News blog delivers an opinion piece on Vancouver’s ever-more-used bike lanes.

In a refreshing upgrade from pure opinion pieces, Mr. Hislop develops a rationale for bike lanes – one that I share.  Namely:  there is no more room for more roads in Vancouver.  So growth must be accommodated by other means, such as providing alternatives.
