I enjoyed her presentation very much and her frank and thoughtful replies to questions from younger members of the audiences even more. Looking back, however, I recall that the subject was largely about community engagement and process – not to be sneezed at, surely – rather than thoughts about urban form making. (Other than opposing very tall buildings, which is very easy to do.) I find that somewhat curious, coming from the lead planner of Canada’s largest city.
