Colwood Transportation Plan brings community and regional partners together
COLWOOD, BC – The City of Colwood is creating a transportation master plan to enhance the City’s travel networks and promote a vibrant, healthy and sustainable community. Consultation with community members and collaboration that builds on the vital work of regional partners like BC Transit and the Capital Regional District are important aspects of the plan.
The first Colwood Café on Wednesday, November 20th will feature guest speaker Gordon Price, a Vancouver Urban Planner who will share stories about what other communities around the globe have achieved through innovative transportation strategies. His talk will kick start creative ideas for discussion between community members to imagine the possibilities for Colwood. The event will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Royal Roads University at 6:00 pm in the Mews Conference Centre. RSVP to transportation@colwood.ca.
