I’m convinced that row housing can be tastefully done on the west side, with myriad benefits of increased housing supply, greater commercial viability, and higher density for mass transit. What are the zoning obstacles? How can they be changed? Part of me wonders if a third-term Vision government would bite the bullet and advocate broad density increases of this kind, instead of the spot-zoning for towers.
