Toronto shows us how to do Nuit Blanche

Nuit Blanche started in Toronto in 2006 – an all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art that took place from dusk until the early pre-dawn hours, when 425,000 attended. Even in heavy rain, this year’s event probably attracted over a million.

And yes, there was an attempt to start it in Vancouver in 2012.  So far, though, it doesn’t seem to have gelled. Not enough support.
