Yes, on Ontario – the bikeway. Ken Ohrn reports in:
Out on my lovely Brodie today, enjoying the sunshine and cooler temperatures. …
Found this great bit of infrastructure at the intersection of Ontario and SW Marine Drive. Bike buttons, traffic calming and barriers, and a protected lane south of SW Marine.

The photo looks south from the intersection.
Thank you, City of Vancouver.

I think I noticed yesterday that the 8th Ave. bikeway is now clear of stop signs between McDonald and Alma– recent change! More, please.
That’s great to see. Vancouver is doing a good job. Any suggestions for Surrey, which doesn’t seem to be getting on the cycling bandwagon. Was appalled yesterday when I saw a “bike lane”(using the term loosely as it was 30” wide at best) on a major thoroughfare. Clearly designated with the bicycle stencilled on the road, but definitely not user friendly.
Is there a standard minimum width for lanes?
See Surrey separated bike lane here:

Surely, you mean – thank you Canadian Tire Corporation – which redeveloped the adjacent former Chrysler Building (although that project has all the internal appeal of a parking garage).
