Re-thinking Waste | Introducing Canada’s National Zero Waste Council |
Connecting efforts locally, regionally, nationally and internationally
Metro Vancouver is pleased to invite you to the 3rd Annual Zero Waste Conference 2013 – Rethinking Waste – on Wednesday, October 16th at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre East.
The Zero Waste Conference will showcase a number of national and international efforts that are leading the shift from simply managing waste to eliminating it altogether.
The Conference will feature keynote presentations by prominent leaders, such as Dame Ellen MacArthur with Circular Economy 100 and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Michael Braungart, Co-Author of Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things. The Conference is intended for anyone interested in sustainable waste management, including all levels of government, business, NGOs, youth and the community at large.
In addition, join us for the launch of Canada’s National Zero Waste Council, and help begin a national dialogue to reduce waste.
