For 30 years, AIDS Vancouver has been at the forefront of this epidemic. (I was one of the co-founders). This year, to celebrate, they launched the 30-30 Campaign to raise awareness, raise money and to document their history.
The goal is to raise $30,000 in 30 days from July 1 to July 30. If we receive donations of $30 each from 30 donors every day of our 30-day campaign, we can achieve this goal.
On July 30, at the Commodore Ballroom, there will be a 30th Anniversary Celebration. Visit 3030.aidsvancouver.org for further details, and to register to attend. Registration is free, but we are requesting donations at the door to support AIDS Vancouver.
