That’s not Gudvangen, which is at the head of the Nærøyfjord in central Norway. I went to Gudvangen in 1993, by ferry from Flåm, and while spectacular, it’s nothing like the photo.
Looking at Google maps, I think it’s actually Reine in the Lofoten Islands, north of the Arctic Circle, over 1,000km away. I didn’t make it there but saw those peaks in the distance from a mountain-top outside Bodø. It’s all a very long way from Sydney NSW…
