I climbed Wayna Picchu now more than 10 years ago. It still stands out as a very vivid memory – and a heck of a long set of stairs.
Closer to home, though, we of course have the Grouse Grind and, a little more urban, the Pemberton Stairs from Marine Drive up to Pemberton Heights in North Vancouver. A short ways west is another set of stairs, this time concrete instead of wooden, that are just as intimidating.
