Bang on until it hit the quay, and then it stopped. That part of the waterfront extending eastward isn’t transformed, that’s for sure.
The pics don’t show exactly the same stretch of waterfront.
In the first render the marina shown would be at the Inn at the Quay location – which is “around the corner” in the second shot. So Andrew is correct in that the development east of the Quay shown in the render has not at all materialized.
But … Council is planning to renegotiate the planning scheme for that eastern area with Larco to scale back the project to make it buildable:
