Enough with the logistics already. Time for some lighter stuff – like the small town of Delft, or at least its historic centre (map here), largely intact and not completely overrun with tourists like us. Since the town is conveniently located between Rotterdam and The Hague, it was perfect for lunch.

I was assured that a pannekeoken with ice cream, whipped cream and a small berry is considered to be lunch. I do not believe that.



















I found excellent Japanese food last summer when I was in Delft. Globalization is delicious.
