Helpful advice on climate change from IEA

That’s the International Energy Agency, and as reported in the New York Times, they have four helpful suggestions that could stop emissions growth by 2020 and keep temperature rise to 2 degrees C. without harming economic growth.  Sounds like a rather good deal.

In other words, many places where oil is extracted in large quantity are in the path of tropical cyclones and storms – which are expected to increase in severity as a consequence of climate change.

Gee, talk about self-interest.
