Still in Europe; now in Spain.
But still some of you show up, hoping for content. So though I’m not able to blog easily (it’s way too distracting over here), I did want to share a video sent by Kathleen Corey (whose videos, done with Brian Gould, we have featured before.). This one isn’t hers, but since she is interning for landscape architects, the PWL Partnership, she thought we might be interested in the promotional video done for that firm by New Street Productions.
And yes we are – mainly because the images are ravishing; they idyllically capture the very best about our designed landscape, much of it in the megaprojects that provided a pallet for the design firms in this city. In my opinion, the landscape architects did the best work.
Yes, this is a kind if advertisement, but for more than just the firm that commissioned it. Bravo, too, to New Street.

When I’m back, images of the kind of landscape design you can do in your capital when king of an imperial empire.

Thank you… so nice to see a fresh look at some of the structures in my own back yard, so to speak. I look forward to reading your new article on landscape design when you’re finished.
