Alternative Media and Climate Change: Strategies for Enhancing Citizen Engagement

Under the auspices of the Climate Justice Project, we are initiating a research project titled
“Alternative Media and Climate Change: Strategies for Enhancing Citizen Engagement.”
Building on previous CJP research on media and public perspectives of climate change, this project will focus on the roles of alternative and mainstream media can play in providing information, discussion, citizen empowerment and, ultimately mobilization on climate change issues. This research would inform strategies for increasing citizen engagement in climate change action.
