Jobs Jar: Active Transportation Education Specialist – City of Calgary

From the the City of Calgary:

Calgary is building up its bicycle program and is currently taking applications for an Active Transportation Education Specialist to help educate the public about bicycling and sharing the road and to encourage the use of bicycles. 

The City has budgeted $20 million over the next few years to improve bicycling, with a focus on doing cycle tracks in the downtown.  You don’t have to be a Canadian citizen to apply.  NAFTA offers quick work permits to qualified American planners to work in Canada.
