Public Square: “Alone Together: Connecting in the City”

SFU’s Public Square inititative is hosting its first Community Summit.  (Full program here.)

The theme is Alone Together: Connecting in the City

Tuesday September 18th Opening Night at the Orpheum.

In addition to four great TED style speakers, the band Bend Sinister, and the spoken word poet Shane Koyczan (who opened the Olympics) will be performing.  Tickets are $15/ $5 and can be purchased here.

Thursday, September 20 – Urban Conspiracy Cabaret.  This night of comedy, music and entertainment will be MC’d by Charlie Demers and Richard Side (founders of the Debaters) and will be held at the Woodward’s Goldcorp Centre for Arts Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.

Friday, September 21 – Extraordinary – Rain City Chronicles. This is a night of storytelling when we shine the spotlight on the amazing people who have been building connections in our community in unique ways.  Tickets are $15 and are available here.
