Three observations from a Forum on Housing Affordility hosted by the UBC Centre for Urban Economics and Real Estate, and the Urban Land Institute:
(1) Changes to the Income Tax Act would have more effect than changes to the Zoning and Development Bylaw.
(2) If Vancouver is beautiful, productive and cheap, people would come here until it wasn’t.
(3) We could use a Vancouver Special for the 21st century.
