A Sustainable Hedonist in Vancouver

Bjarke Ingels coined the term ‘hedonistic sustainability’ to describe his approach to urbanism and architecture.  Presumably that is reflected in his proposal for the twisted tower at the north end of the Granville Bridge.  The developer for that site – Westbank Properties – is hosting an evening of conversation on Vancouver architecture with Ingels at the Chan Centre.  Tickets are still available – but going fast.

This evening is dedicated to a discussion about how to put Vancouver on the world stage for the design of its built environment. Please join us in a conversation with Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, one of architecture’s brightest stars, and an audience of some of Vancouver’s leading architects, designers, artists and city proponents as we search for ways to raise the bar of future design.

April 12 – Chan Centre – 7pm

r s v p – Hweely Lim (hweely@westbankcorp.com)  Tickets are required.
